How to master breathing when diving?
When diving, you need to take a deep breath every time you breathe. If you only use shallow breath to inhale a relatively small amount of fresh air, because the first thing that enters your lungs is the gas that was left in the breathing chamber, and on the other hand it is deep. Breathing allows you to inhale more fresh air. Therefore, deep breathing is a more efficient breathing method. To achieve maximum respiratory efficiency, you need to breathe slowly and deeply under the water. When using scuba, be slower than usual, deeper - do not suck in too much at a time, as long as it is more than usual. The same applies when breathing by using a breathing tube. However, in order to discharge the water in the breathing tube, it can be quick and powerful when breathing out.
Respiratory control and breathing goals
You will find that there is a small amount of stagnant water in regulators and breathing tubes, especially after draining. This is not a problem - use airway control to avoid accidentally sucking water into the throat and picking it up.
Correct airway control means:
1. If water enters the regulator, breathing tube or mouth, remember to inhale slowly so that water is not sucked into the throat.
2. After draining water from the breathing tube and regulator, inhale cautiously and slowly.
3, when the water enters the mouth, the top of the tongue is on the top, and you want to stop the water board. Slightly looking down will keep the water in the second level without getting into the mouth. Avoid the water and slowly breathe it in the water to remove the mouth
If you inadvertently inhale some water, it can cause cramps and coughing. Don't worry, this is the natural reaction of the body to the exclusion of water from the lungs. At this time, please keep calm, stabilize the breathing tube or regulator with one hand, and cough out from the mouthpiece. Cough can also help clear water in the breathing tube or regulator, so you can solve two problems at the same time. Swallowing water can also help you stop coughing, restore breathing, and maintain airway control. After some experience, airway control becomes a natural habit.
