[Nitesun diving lighting] wreck diving 5 precautions
In many old movies, it is common to see huge octopus attacking divers in a shipwreck on the seabed. Such behemoths are generally guarding certain treasures.
If this is what you are looking for, then you will be disappointed, but you will still find that wreck diving is an activity that is full of adventure and excitement.

Sharp object
Rusted metal, broken wood, broken glass, coral hard shells, and other sharp objects that cut a careless diver are all divers' attention.
Although some deliberately placed wrecks do not have such problems, after some time, the rusted edges will become as sharp as a knife.
When wrecking, use buoyancy control to avoid hitting the shipwreck as much as possible, and wear wearable gloves and thick winter clothes to avoid accidental cuts.
Entangled
Although entangled is rare, there are often old ropes, fishing lines or other ropes in the ship. Because the shipwreck attracts fish, they are also a popular fishing spot. Then there will be a lot of fishing nets wrapped around the shipwreck.
The way to avoid being entangled is to pay attention to your direction of travel. The eyes should look above and around, and you should be careful when you swim in places that may wrap you around.
Therefore, when carrying out wreck diving, be sure to carry a flat blade with a serrated sharp diving knife to avoid entanglement that your hands can't cope with.
aquatic creature
The shipwreck will soon become an artificial reef bed, so it is very likely that in the shipwreck, those creatures that will bite or swear will be found.
The way to avoid this danger is the same as what you do on a natural reef: pay attention to where your hands, feet and knees stay, wear winter clothes and gloves, and don't touch the creatures on the sea floor.
Unstable structure
With the ageing and decline of a search ship, there will be some spoilage, swaying of the support or displacement of the ship's wall.
In some shipwrecks, even the ship wall objects fall. So try not to dive near the hull where the hull looks unstable and looks like it may collapse at any time.
If you are experiencing an unsteady hull, leave the danger zone immediately and do not swim in any place where something may fall.
Gate and suction caused by waves
The movement of waves and water through a shipwreck, as well as the flow of water through a narrow area, can cause intermittent suction or rapid water flow.
If you notice the presence of waves, be careful of this type of water movement and away from enclosed areas, hatches or restricted areas.
The best way is to delay the time you visit the ship until there is no wave or intense water flow.
