For the price I paid, this flashlight is the best and brightest flashlight I've ever owned. Very, very bright! I'm sure you could light a piece of paper on the brightest setting to start a campfire in an emergency! Easily switch between various brightness settings as needed. Bright, disorienting strobe light is instantly available via 2 switches on the end of the light, instantly disorienting potential attackers with a single click! The entire construction is of premium quality. USB-C charging allows you to charge many different devices with one cord.

This is a well made very bright flashlight. This is a tactical and edc flashlight. It has a unique user interface that utilizes 3 buttons. Dual tail switch buttons for tactical and a side switch for edc. Brinyte makes very high quality flashlights and they keep getting better. This is brighter and flooding than the pt16, it also has longer run times. This is a large flashlight ideal for any situation. Walking your dog, camping, or to use tactically. I’m very very happy and impressed with this flashlight.

We used this light when we were hiking last night, it was very bright and lasted a long time, very awesome!

We have a lot of lights. I can't tell you why but we do.Husband is a diver and we have several tactical lights plus we have several more for emergency use as we live in Florida and our power goes out more than something crazy happens in the world.We have several Brinyte products including the most recently purchased PT16A (this one) and the prior which was the PT16. We have been very happy so far. The first time we were introduced to them was actually an accident. Hubs was reading a review on another site about an OLight and someone mentioned Brinyte. Then we saw a few videos and thought to give it a try (it helped that there was a coupon on the 'zon).On to this light....it's very well packaged...a form fitting plastic package within a solid cardboard box. It includes a short manual and a warranty card along with a lanyard, charging cable, and a nice holster with a belt clip. It is a tactical light, after-all.I took some photos and the hubby recorded opening it, inserting the 5000mAh 3.6V battery, and turning it on so you can see how bright it is (though it was daylight) and the rings. The holster is VERY sturdy, almost stiff.The battery charger is in the light itself so you insert the battery and connect a (*gasp*) USB-C cable to charge it. That port is covered by a rubber gasket to keep dust and other unwanteds out of there.We've had it for about 2 months now and it has now become our EDC....very nice, high quality light.

I love the spot and the throw, it’s tuned in just right distance and flood. It comes in a fancy box with a sheath and charger and even a finger ring. So it has multiple carry ways. It’s nice how brinyte is always improving their products and listening to its customers. Continues improvement is showing they care about what they are making and going to what it takes to please us customers. Their customer service and quality is hands down at its finest. The PT16A is a very powerful tactical flashlight with an efficient driver and lots of throw. It is an upgraded version of the PT16, the main differences being the emitter and the charging port cover has been improved. It has a larger hotspot, but still allows you to see very far away. The 21700 battery is superior to others. You can tell right off the bat the quality soon as you hold in your hand. It also user friendly to all because it has a side and end of the butt button for multiple on offs. It’s got a separate button for strobe also, which makes it so convenient not having to cycle through that every time.

The throw on this light is absolutely fantastic. The large head and high candela really allows you to reach out and see at distance. Excellent if you are using this in a duty capacity, have a lot of property to survey, or just like having a ton of light wherever you point this light, no matter the distance.

It is a lot of light, but it doesn't get hot too fast. It has the same 21700 and is rechargeable with the USB-C port. The port cover is upgraded and not as loose as the original. Runtime on mid power (120 lumen) is a claimed 20 hours! This is pretty nice for an emergency situation.
If you prefer a little wider hot spot, PT16A is a good choice for you.
If you like a little bit more throw, you denifitely need PT16!😎💯

This is a very effective self defense tool, with the ceramic tips on the head of the flashlight to the aluminum finger ring that willProtect your hand and produce a harder punch if needed. I’m very very happy and impressed with this flashlight

There’s direct access to strobe. But more importantly, would be direct access to turbo. When you need a lot of light and you need it now (military and law enforcement), that tail switch needs to activate turbo every time. Having it recall the last used mode means that instead of blinding an aggressor, you could be hitting him with a measly 10 lumens. I really like everything else about this light and I think it’s great for outdoorsmen.

Going on 3 weeks and I still don't have what I ordered....is this a scam?

The functionality of the buttons is not as intuitive as I hoped. Didn’t realized I needed tech support to figure out the various options. Having the instructions written in 1 pt font didn’t help.
