🎖️ Independent Review — 1Lumen.com
"The E18 is a fantastic flashlight that delivers a super nice beam with a nice tint. It is small, lightweight, easy to operate, and does exactly what it was built for: a reliable flashlight with a magnetic tailcap, USB-C charging, and a battery indicator — a perfect gift for family and friends."
Most compact EDC lights top out around 140–150m beam distance. The E18 reaches 220m from the same pocket-sized body — roughly 50% more usable range on the trail, across a parking lot, or down a dark street.
Best for: everyday carry, hands-free repair work, dog walking, and camping.

Why the E18 Is a Smarter Everyday Carry
It's not just another 1200-lumen light. It's a compact tool that adapts to whatever the day asks.
🧲
Magnetic Tail Cap
Stick the E18 to vehicle hoods, machinery, or steel beams and work with both hands free. The magnetic tail turns a pocket flashlight into a hands-free inspection light in one motion.

💡
1200 Lumens · 220m Beam
Powered by the Luminus SST40 LED, the E18 reaches 220 meters — roughly 50% farther than most compact EDC lights in its class. Lights up a trail, driveway, or work area instantly.
Extended Range
🔋
220h Runtime on Moon
On Moon mode (5 lm) the E18 runs for up to 220 hours on a single 18650 charge. Low and Mid modes preserve night vision and stretch runtime across multiple days of use.
🔌
USB-C Charging & Power Indicator
Hidden USB-C port lets you recharge without removing the battery. A built-in LED indicator shows real-time battery level during use and while charging — no guessing before you head out.
🛡️
Standard 18650 · No Proprietary Cells
Powered by a standard 18650 rechargeable battery — easy to replace and recharge, no proprietary cells. When the battery eventually wears out, drop in any quality 18650 instead of being locked into a brand-specific pack.
📎
Two-way Clip & Anti-roll Body
The two-way clip allows bezel-up or bezel-down carry on a pocket or belt. The anti-roll body stays put on flat surfaces so the light doesn't roll away mid-task.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Brinyte E18 have a magnetic tail cap for hands-free use?
Yes. The E18 features a strong magnetic tail cap that allows you to attach it to metal surfaces for hands-free lighting, making it ideal for mechanics, repair work, and auto maintenance.
Why choose a magnetic tail flashlight?
A magnetic tail cap turns a pocket flashlight into a hands-free work light. Instead of holding the light or propping it up, you stick it to a steel surface and both hands stay free for the task — ideal for vehicle repair, engine bay work, and tight spaces where a headlamp is awkward.
Is the battery replaceable?
Yes. The E18 runs on a standard 18650 rechargeable battery — no proprietary cells. You can replace it with any quality 18650 when it eventually wears out, rather than being locked into a brand-specific battery.
Is the E18 a good flashlight for dog walking at night?
Yes. With 1200 lumens and a 220-meter beam, the E18 provides excellent forward visibility for night walks. Lower modes like Moon and Low help preserve night vision and extend runtime.
Is this a good flashlight for mechanics and repair work?
Absolutely. The magnetic tail cap allows you to stick the light to hoods or chassis, keeping both hands free. The clip allows for pocket carry, and the durable IP68 body withstands garage grime.
Does the E18 have a battery power indicator?
Yes. It has a built-in LED power indicator that displays the remaining battery level during use and while charging via USB-C.
How do I charge the Brinyte E18?
The E18 features a built-in USB-C port for direct charging. You can charge it using a standard phone charger or power bank. Full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours.
Is the Brinyte E18 waterproof?
Yes, it is rated IP68, meaning it is submersible in water up to 2 meters for 30 minutes, making it suitable for rain and outdoor use.
Does the E18 have mode memory?
Yes. The light remembers the last brightness mode used (excluding Strobe and SOS), so it turns on exactly how you left it.
What battery does the Brinyte E18 use?
The E18 runs on a single 18650 rechargeable battery (included).
Does the pocket clip work both ways?
Yes, the two-way clip allows for bezel-up or bezel-down carry, adapting to your preference for pocket or belt carry.
Is the E18 good for camping?
Yes. Its wide beam, long runtime on Low modes, and magnetic tail (for tent hanging) make it a versatile camping light.
