🔫 T40 vs ZT40 — Which One Do You Need?
T40 — Rifle-Ready
✅ Integrated Picatinny rail mount
✅ Remote pressure switch ready
✅ 8°–70° zoom
❌ Not designed for handheld
ZT40 — Handheld
✅ Ergonomic handheld grip
✅ 6°–70° zoom (tighter spot)

Bottom line: T40 is built for your rifle. ZT40 is built for your hand. Choose based on how you hunt — not which light is "better."
TIR Zoom Lens — One Twist, Full Control
70°
Wide Flood
≈ Full truck bed width at 50m
⇄
8°
Tight Spot
≈ Deer chest width at 100m
One hand, one twist. Rotate the bezel to shift seamlessly between a 70° flood that lights up an entire clearing and a focused 8° spotlight that reaches 490 metres. No mode menus — pure mechanical control. Flood for scanning. Spot for confirming the shot.
🎯 How to choose — ask yourself one question:
🐗 Hogs → Green
🦌 Deer → Red
🔍 General / SAR → White
🩸 Blood tracking → UV 395nm
🌙 Night vision → IR850 or IR940
⚠️ Hunt multiple species? Start with White — it works for everything. Then add a color-specific light later.
Choose Your Wavelength by Scenario
Each T40 ships with a fixed single-colour LED — chosen at checkout. Select the wavelength that matches what you hunt.
🐗
Hogs · Coyotes
✅ Best: Green
Max contrast in grass and open terrain. Hogs perceive green as less threatening than white — scan fields without spooking the sounder.
500 lm · 273m
📌 273m covers open-field hog scanning at typical ranges
Deer cannot perceive red wavelengths above 620nm. Walk in unseen — they won't know you're there until it's too late.
450 lm · 273m
📌 273m covers 90%+ of typical deer hunting shots
🩸
Blood Tracking
✅ Best: UV 395nm
Blood fluoresces under UV — droplets glow bright against leaves and dark soil. Don't lose your harvest to poor light.
145 lm · Fluorescence
📌 Effective tracking range: 10–20m (blood glows bright at close range)
🎯
General · SAR
✅ Best: White
Maximum output and throw. Full-spectrum color rendering for target identification, open-field scanning, and emergency use.
1,650 lm · 490m
📌 Maximum output for positive ID at any hunting distance
🌙
Night Vision
✅ Best: IR850 / IR940
Invisible to game and other hunters. IR850 gives maximum output; IR940 is truly covert with zero visible signature.
850nm · 940nm
📌 IR850: 200–300m · IR940: 100–200m (with Gen 2+ NV)
🦊
Fox · Predators
✅ Best: Red / Green
Red for stealth approach under 100m. Green for scanning open terrain at distance. Same T40, two scenarios.
Red 450lm · Green 500lm
📌 Red for approach · Green for scanning
🎯
TIR Lens Precision
Total Internal Reflection lens produces a focused, artifact-free beam. Sharp edges, maximum throw efficiency.
🔫
Picatinny Rail Slot
Integrated mounting slot accepts standard rail accessories. Mounts directly to your rifle without additional hardware.
🎮
Remote Pressure Switch Ready
Supports optional Brinyte remote pad (sold separately). Activate from the foregrip without breaking your shooting grip.
💧
IPX8 Submersible
Rated for 2 metres of submersion for 30 minutes. Duck blinds, river crossings, heavy rain — the T40 keeps going.
3h 45m
Max continuous runtime · High mode · Full night of hunting
Battery 21700 Li-ion 5,000mAh
Charging USB-C (concealed port)
Charge rate Max 2A · ~3 hrs full

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the T40 designed for handheld use or rifle mounting? +
The T40 is specifically designed for rifle mounting. It includes a built-in Picatinny rail mount and remote switch compatibility. The grip is optimized for weapon-mounted use — if you primarily need a handheld light, we recommend the ZT40 instead.
What's the difference between T40 and ZT40? +
T40 is built for rifle mounting with a built-in Picatinny rail mount and remote pressure switch compatibility. ZT40 is handheld-first — lighter, more ergonomic grip — and can be mounted with an optional clamp (sold separately). Both share the same 1,650lm / 490m specs in white. Choose T40 for your rifle. Choose ZT40 for your hand.
Which colour should I choose for hogs vs deer vs blood tracking? +
Hogs: Green — provides maximum contrast in open terrain, hogs perceive it as less threatening. Deer: Red — deer cannot perceive red wavelengths above 620nm, walk in unseen. Blood tracking: UV 395nm — blood fluoresces brightly under UV, making trails visible where white light fails. General use: White — maximum output and throw for identification and scanning.
Is the 490m beam distance in spot or flood mode? +
490m is the maximum throw measured in 8° spot mode per ANSI FL1 standard — the distance at which illuminance reaches 0.25 lux. In 70° flood mode, practical identification range is roughly 80–120m. Use spot for long-range target identification, flood for close-range area scanning.
Will the IR versions work without a night-vision device? +
IR 850nm produces a faint, barely-visible glow to the naked eye but illuminates clearly through a night-vision scope. IR 940nm is completely invisible to the human eye — it requires a NV device to be useful. Both versions are designed specifically to pair with NV optics.
Can I use the T40 while it's charging? +
No — during USB-C charging the flashlight cannot be activated. The LED indicator shows solid red while charging and turns solid green when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours at max 2A input.
